The glam factor was at the max at the 83rd Academy Awards on Sunday, as Hollywood’s hottest stars hit the red carpet in the swankiest designer gowns in the world. Though you may not be able to afford the crazy couture and hot hooves that Anne, Halle, Sandra and Natalie rocked to the awesome awards show, RadarOnline.com has selected a few pocked-friendly options to help you get the look for less!
Red successfully replaced black as this season’s go-to color, as Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Lawrence all heated up the carpet in fiery fashions.
While Anne’s Valentino gown probably won’t fit into your monthly budget, we found a similar corseted and ruffled gown from the FLIRT by Maggie Sotero collection, which has the same look and feel as Academy Award host’s first gown of the evening, but will only set you back $288. The gown is available online at Unique Vintage.
Sandra Bullocks strapless Vera Wang custom-created gown also fired up fashionistas. And while her gown is one-of-a-kind, we found a great alternative for only $260 from Simply Dresses.

And Jennifer Hudson definitely brought out the bombshell, opting for an Atelier Versace gown in a spicy tangerine flavor. Her dramatic dress showed off her body in the best way possible, and this Dalia MacPhee version will show off yours the same sexy way, but for only about $300.
Purple is popping up everywhere this spring, and Natalie Portman was one of the several stars to indulge in the regal hue at the Oscars, wearing a Rodarte gown with Jimmy Choo heels and Tiffany jewels. While wearing the intense shade from head-to-toe may be overwhelming for most people, try spicing up an ensemble with a pair of purple heels, like Emma Stone did at the Vanity Fair party with her Chanel gown. Chinese Laundry has a fabulous pair of purple pumps -- for only $79.95!
