It was a very wet and rainy day in Southern California Sunday, and Charlie Sheen's soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller took their twin sons, Bob and Max, to a museum, and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive video.

The video which was shot by am observer at Kidspace Museum in Pasadena, shows Brooke lovingly interacting with the Bob. Max was more content staying inside with Brooke's uncle, while Brooke and Bob went outside for a little fun in the rain.

Brooke and the boys spent about an hour and a half at the museum.

An onlooker tells us, "Brooke was very hands on with Bob and Max. They were very active little boys. The nanny was there also, but she stood in the wings. Bob and Max were constantly pulling Brooke in separate directions, which was adorable.

"You could hear both boys saying at the same time, 'mommy, mommy, let's go over here.' Brooke was very patient with them, and gave them both one-on-one time, with a lot of hugs and kisses.

"All Bob wanted to do was play in the rain because there were other kids outside. Brooke let him, but only for less than a minute and then quickly brought him in, which Bob didn't like at all."

The family also dined at the museum. "Bob and Max ate chicken nuggets and fruit. They had milk and water to drink. Bob wanted to share his lunch with his mom, and she politely took one bite, and then encouraged him to eat his lunch.

"Max was very interested in the interactive exhibits and spent a lot of time with Brooke at the Digging Deeper Gallery, which teaches kids about fossils and bugs," the eyewitness tells us.

Bob and Max celebrated their second birthday last weekend, and there was a birthday party going on at the museum for another child.

"Bob was drawn to the other child's birthday party," the eyewitness says, "and the family welcomed Bob and Brooke. Bob wanted a piece of the birthday cake, and tried to put his hands in the cake which had already been eaten! It was very cute to watch Bob and Brooke interact with the other kids at the birthday party.

"No one had any idea who they were, Bob, Max and Brooke just enjoyed themselves," the insider says.

A source close to Brooke tells us, "Brooke is going to be returning to work very soon. She is a single mom and it's important to her that she be a positive role model for Bob and Max. Brooke will be returning to Extra as an on-camera correspondent. Brooke loved working for Extra in the past, and she is very, very happy to be returning to work.

Mueller is still in her daily rehab program, the source adds, but spends her nights at home with the boys.
