Although Lady Gaga kept herself encased in a giant egg on the red carpet of the 2011 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, the sassy singer finally hatched when she hit the stage during her performance of Born This Way, revealing an outrageous performance ensemble.

Wearing a Hussin Chalayan custom created rubber crop top and matching skirt (which were completely see through!) she belted out the lyrics of her latest hit song.

Later in the night, Gaga changed into something a little more modest to accept her award for Best Pop Vocal Album, opting for an S&M stylebustier, which was made out of leather instead of meat!

Other notable looks from inside the the show included Christina Aguilera, who dazzled in a sequin gown during the opening tribute to Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Hudson, wearing a shirt version of the Alexander McQueen gown Anna Paquin wore to the Emmy Awards last year and Rihanna, who hit the stage in a princess-worthy Christian Dior gown.
