Chaz Bono Premieres Documentary At Sundance

Chaz Bono debuted his highly-anticipated documentary at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah over the weekend, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The 41-year-old has had a very public transition from a woman to a man and girlfriend Jennifer Elia has been by his side the entire way.

“I wanted to do this because I wanted to help people,” Bono told the audience of Becoming Chaz.
“And I knew that…I could put a face on this issue that people just don’t understand because it’s a hard one to understand. I wanted to be able to chance people’s hearts and minds on this.”
Born the daughter of music legends Sonny Bono and Cher, Chaz documented his journey into manhood, one that he calls a journey of identity and self-discovery.
After its Sundance premiere, the film will air on Oprah Winfrey’s new television network, OWN.
