Mariah Carey didn't take a backseat to her talented Opera singer mother Patricia when the two performed on Mariah's ABC Christmas special Monday, as the All I Want For Christmas crooner showed she can hit her high notes with the best of 'em.

During their joint rendition of O Come All Ye Faithful/Hallelujah Chorus, Patricia, a vocal coach, stole the show with her impressive, high-pitched Opera singing -- that is, until Mariah went into one of her trademark screeches that brought the house down.

There were technically three generations of the family onstage Monday, as Mariah is currently pregnant with her first child with hubby Nick Cannon.
