Actor Michael C. Hall's marriage to his Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter is over, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The pair -- who play brother and sister on the critically acclaimed Showtime drama -- have announced plans to divorce after nearly two years of marriage.
"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," their reps said in a joint statement to Entertainment Weekly.

Both reps add that the split was amicable.
Hall, 39 and Carpeter, 31, met on the set of their show and married on December 31, 2008.
Earlier this year, Carpenter stood by Hall as he fought Hodgkin's lymphoma.
