The Dirty Dancing star, for the second week in a row, received two perfect scores on Dancing With The Stars Monday to kick off the show's championship week.
Monday's agenda consisted of two dances: a freestyle number and a redemption dance, in which contestants were to re-do a low-scoring number from earlier in the season.
Grey, with partner Derek Hough, danced a smooth paso doble set to Habanera from Carmen for her do-over. She was equally graceful in her freestyle set to Do You Love Me, the classic from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack that tapped into the sentimental vein of the audience. And for those of you wondering, Grey told show correspondent Brooke Burke said she wouldn't dance to the film's flagship song, (I've Had) The Time of My Life, because it was her special number with the late Patrick Swayze.
As usual, the judges had glowing reviews for the 50-year-old actress, who's also appeared in films such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Cotton Club.
"This is the meaning of redemption," Carrie Ann Inaba told her, while Bruno Tonioli said Grey was able to master "two dances at the opposite end of the spectrum -- and both equally brilliant."
Len Goodman told Grey, "You're been consistent, persistent ... like a juggernaut heading for that Mirror Ball Trophy."
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer were solid with 56/60 points on the night, while underdog Bristol Palin, with her partner Mark Ballas, scored 52/60.
Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season champion will be crowned on the results show on ABC Tuesday at 9/8c. Special guest Christina Aguerila performs a number from her new movie Burlesque.
