Oh no she didn't!

After whispers of conservative conspiracies, a loud shotgun blast to one man's TV set, and a fake white powder scare at the CBS studios where Dancing With The Stars is taped, Bristol Palin fired back at her critics on Tuesday's season finale of DWTS, saying that "going out there and winning would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me."

The thin-skinned 20-year-old, who was partnered with Mark Ballas, wound up finishing in third place. She was flanked by a crew of bodyguards and security for the taping, as she reportedly received death threats in the past week.

In a practice clip that aired during Monday's show, Bristol expressed frustration with the lack of acceptance she'd received, especially after knocking off Brandy, who consistently scored higher than she throughout the season.

"It stinks people still don't think I deserve to be here," she said. "There are a lot of haters out there just waiting for me to fail. This just gives me that much more motivation to prove them wrong."

Her mother Sarah chimed in on her daughter's detractors in an appearance on Sean Hannity Monday.

"Bristol has said, 'Mom, it doesn't matter what we do, we're going to get criticized anyway, so we might as well dance,'" Sarah said. "For me, it's, 'You're right, honey, you might as well dance and fly and soar and surf and speak about issues that are important to this country.'

"We might as well do it, and we'll take that criticism, because we know that, at the end of the day, truly, being committed to a cause is worth it," the former vice presidential nominee said.
