"I told myself if I got eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night," The Situation said after he was eliminated. "So if it happened, I'd bow out gracefully.
“It is what it is, I tried my best,” he said.
In a pre-taped clip that aired on Tuesday's show, The Sitch let down his normally upbeat, cocky guard while complaining to partner Karina Smirnoff.
"The judges were so unpositive and didn't even see the work I put in, didn't even see the progress I made this week and you know what, you know what? I'm done with this," he said in the clip.
Following his elimination, The Sitch took to his Twitter page, where he thanked fans for their support and looked back with fondness on his experiences the past month.
"Thanx for all the support!" he Tweeted. "It's been a ride, an experience, something I'll learn from and hopefully I have shown the real Situation!

"The Situation who is who he is n is what you think he is because he is what he sets out to be n what he sets out to be is himself , something special, talented, intelligent, generous, sweet, sexy n all thee above ! What I really meant to say is that I am human! Just like you! Dreams n all!"
The Situation is the fourth contestant to be eliminated this year, following actor David Hasselhoff, singer Michael Bolton and comic Margaret Cho out the door.
Dancing With The Stars continues Monday at 8/7c on ABC, and for all you fans of The Sitch, new episodes of Jersey Shore air on MTV Thursdays at 10/9c.
