An ex-girlfriend of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas broke her 19-year silence Monday night - telling Larry King that when they were dating, the conservative justice was obsessed by kinky porn and loved watching and talking about it.

"I suppose I would call it a fetish or a hobby," Lillian McEwen, a former prosecutor and administrative judge who dated Thomas for several years in the 1980s, told King of Thomas' preoccupation with porn. "It was on that kind of a level. It was something that was very important to him. Something that he talked about. But to me, it was boring, and I was uninterested in it."

McEwen said she generally ignored the conservative when he would discuss his fondness for porn, and that she wasn't alarmed by some of the kinkier XXX material Thomas would bring home and watch.

"It was not unusual for a man his age to concentrate on pornography, especially if he had not been exposed to it when he was very young," she said, adding that she helped Thomas act out his sexual fantasies on occasion.

She said she didn't find Thomas' overactive libido unusual, prompting King to ask her, "Guy wants to be a Supreme Court judge is into this? You didn't think it weird?"

She responded, “No, I assumed, frankly, that many Supreme Court justices watch porn and enjoy porn ... I mean, it's very popular on the Internet, that's why most people use their computers, is to watch porn, especially men."

McEwen in the interview also noted that Thomas' behavior changed radically after he gave up drinking, characterizing him as "angry, short-tempered and asexual."

Thomas has been a hot topic since his wife Virginia last week called his one-time accuser Anita Hill, asking for an apology for the 1991 sexual harassment claims that nearly cost him his seat on the Supreme Court.
