Tareq Salahi is about as popular with his Real Housewives of D.C. castmates as he is with White House security.

We saw this theory in play again on Thursday night's episode of Bravo's scintillating series set in the nation’s capital, as the grandstanding gatecrasher implied castmate Mary Schmidt Amons' daughter Lolly played a role in the years-old theft of his polo gear, leading the classy Mary to dub Salahi "an angry drunk."

The tense scene unfolded at dinner, as Tareq -- egged on by his wife Michaele -- told Mary that authorities had informed him that Lolly had posted something on Facebook about the stolen goods, and that "the FBI has been investigating" the matter.

"There's a federal investigation and everybody's going to jail," Tareq boasted, leading Mary to declare that Tareq's "had a lot of wine to drink" and "is an angry drunk" in a follow-up interview.

We spoke exclusively last week with Mary, who denied the claims, and said that the Salahis will stoop to "the lowest of lows" in their never-ending quest for attention.

“It was very upsetting and disturbing to have your daughter falsely accused of something," Mary told us exclusively. "I don’t care if it was true or not ... to put this on national television speaks to their character.”

The Real Housewives of D.C. airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c.
