Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky started her new job as a news correspondent Thursday morning on Fox 5 in San Diego and she got a huge surprise on live TV – her handsome fiancé Roberto Martinez hand delivered a birthday cake!

At four minutes in to her live morning show, Roberto arrived on the set with a chocolate frosted cake for Ali to help her celebrate her 26th birthday.

“Thank you baby,” Ali gushed as she kissed her fiancé on live TV.

Ali, who was interviewing Dr. Melinda Silva for a segment on couple chemistry, asked the doctor what she thought about her chemistry with her new fiancé.

“You keep doing things like that Roberto, you’re going to be in for a long time,” Dr. Silva replied.

Ali’s first live interview started out with her stumbling over a few words, but her comfort level in front of the live camera clearly grew as the interview progressed.

And like any girl in love, Ali’s ease increased when Roberto came in to the picture. The newly engaged Bachelorette gave her trademark giggle talking about how happy she is in the relationship.

“He’s so great; I’m a lucky, lucky girl,” Ali said.

Her first interview impressed the executives at the news station.  “Ali is a great addition to the Fox 5 Morning New Team as our relationship guru,” Fox 5 Executive Producer David Johns exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
