Kanye West Apologizes (Again) To Taylor Swift With New Song
Sept. 4 2010, Published 3:20 p.m. ET
It's been a year since Kanye West stormed the stage and ruined Taylor Swift's winning moment at the MTV Video Music Awards. Now with the 2010 VMAs just a week away, Kanye has taken to Twitter to apologize to Taylor again, and Radaronline.com has his rambling Tweets.
Kanye has had a difficult year from fans and the media regarding his jumping onstage during Taylor's speech. Now he's offering a new explanation for what happened.
"I am responsible for those who love and represent me and what they have to deal with on a day to day defending "The American Psycho" .... I would have ran on stage for Justin that night because Sexy Back (in my mind) was that important... that impactful to our culture ...I watched Justin Timberlake at the Grammies loose every televised award including album of the year which the Dixie Chicks won....It's not about race America. No one in our position ever stands up and says anything anymore. It is distasteful to cut people off as a general rule.
What's the point of dressing tastefully if I'm going to act the complete opposite? With new found humility ... who am I to run on stage? I would never ever again in a million years do that. Sorry to let you down."
He went on to say about Taylor: "She's just a lil girl with dreams like the rest of us. She deserves the apology more than anyone. I'm ready to get out of my own way. The ego is overdone," he continued.

"Who am I to run on stage? I would never ever again in a million years do that. TAYLOR LOVES RAP MUSIC...I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC...I'm sorry Taylor."
He also wrote a song for Taylor, which he tweeted about “I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that’s so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won’t take it then I’ll perform it for her.” Of course he will.
Kanye will be performing at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, which air live from Los Angeles on September 12. Perhaps he's just preparing himself for a reunion with Taylor?
