The normally casual days of summer are a touch more prim and proper this season as stars opt for fitted suits and blazers over tight tanks and teeny shorts.

MTV host LaLa Vazquez gets a gold star for her nautical ‘boating meets the boardroom’ white suit and striped shirt combo that was given extra oomph with a bright red bag and leopard-print pixie boots.

Style train wreck Mischa Barton proved that even tweed jackets can look scruffy when paired with velvet shorts and an oversized tucked in tee. The actress even made the fashion faux pas of being spotted in the same shorts twice in one week!

Jennifer Aniston kept up the fitted theme in a satin-shirt dress that oozed the same sex appeal as a girl wearing her boyfriend’s oversize tee shirt the next morning. As always, The Switch star’s toned legs were her best accessories!

Both Zac Effron and Macaulay Culkin failed on the shirt front thanks to overly small sizes, wrinkles and just plain scruffiness.
