Julie Brown, the comedian, actress, movie star, and singer – who can forget “The Homecoming Queen’s Got a Gun,” or “I Like ‘Em Big And Stupid” ? – is finishing up her third studio album entitled “Smell The Glamour,” featuring the dance parodies “Big Clown Pants” and “Another Drunk Chick.”
Just like a female Weird Al, Julie takes on Ke$ha with a clever parody of “Tik toc.” The hyper-net talent also spoofs Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” which reminded us of the days when she hosted her own comedy show Just Say Julie on MTV, and no one was safe from her wit,
“I’m really excited about this album,” enthuses Brown, “Every track brings something funny and unique and I think my fans are going to have a lot of fun with it!”
Smell The Glamour is set for release by Bitchen Tunes Records on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 with the first singles “Big Clown Pants” and “Another Drunk Chick,” being released to iTunes on Tuesday, August 17th.
And something we bet you didn’t know: Julie Brown co-wrote the Disney Channel’s blockbuster hit Camp Rock, in which she co-starred with The Jonas Brothers.
