Madonna’s Material Girl Hits Macy's: Would You Wear It?

Madonna’s Material Girl clothing collection launched exclusively at Macy's on Tuesday, and the vibe was tres 1980! The department store in New York was filled with anticipating shoppers eager to get a piece of the vintage-inspired collection, which was co-designed by Madonna’s funky-fashionista spawn Lourdes Leon. Dressed in Madonna-inspired duds, fans walked down the pink carpet, nibbled on cupcakes and danced to the iconic pop star’s greatest hits.
Although the original Material Girl was not in attendance, Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen, who is the spokesperson for the line, performed for shoppers with her band The Pretty Reckless.
This isn’t the first time Madonna has taken her iconic status to fashion. In 2007 Madonna helped feature a seasonal line for H&M.
