Kate Gosselin hit the 2010 Emmy Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles, debuting a new, beyond glam look on the red carpet. Brushing shoulders with who's who in Hollywood, the mother of eight (who left the kids at home) was competitively dressed at the swanky awards show, wearing designer duds from head to toe. RadarOnline.com spoke with celebrity stylist April Steiner, who explained what made this Kate's best look ever!
"It is clear that Kate is not afraid to shine as she steps out in this look," says the stylist, who has worked with Katie Holmes, Nicole Richie and America Ferrera, about Kate's awe-inspiring look.
In a dazzling Carmen Marc Valvo gown, which featured a sequined cowl neck and floorlength hemline, she added Valentino shoes (not shown) and cool Martin Katz/Everlon jewels. The TLC star, who had paid a visit to her NYC hairstylist Ted Gibson just last week, showed off her new cut and color in side swept updo.
"Kate looks adorable in her chic pencil skirt layered look with her fun boyfriend cardi and chunky necklace, but steps out like a classic beauty in her all-black Carmen Marco Valvo," gushed April about Kate's amazing transformation.
"The open draping neckline really elongates her body and shows off herfresh face, especially with her hair pulled back and her dewy, glowing makeup."
"Kate keeps with the trends by working the embellished sequin look that is very popular for fall and makes her face sparkle even more!"
"She keeps the jewels classic and simple, knowing that her dress is a real standout piece with the slight train. The longer earring is stunning with her open neckline, and keeps her looking young and fresh."
"She looks confident and comfortable, and this silhouette makes her body look long and lean."
