Jeopardy, this wasn't.

Kelly Ripa - a true Jersey girl -  defeated Jersey Shore's  tanned trio  of Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio by a 6-3 score in a New Jersey trivia showdown hosted by Regis Philbin on Live with Regis and Kelly Friday, and RadarOnline.com has the clip for you.

Much like the hapless hometown Nets, the MTV reality stars struggled mightily to spit out the answers, though The Situation held his own with a few correct answers. (In fairness to the Tri-state reality stars, Ripa was the only true Jersey native playing, as Snooki and The Situation are New Yorkers, while Pauly D is originally from Rhode Island.)

Ripa answered a flurry of questions faster than her opponents, causing The Situation at one point to joke that the game was "rigged."

The new season of Jersey Shore, featuring the cast in both South Florida and New Jersey, premieres on MTV Thursday, July 29 at 10/9c.
