Segel, who recently became a minister with Universal Life Church, married a New Zealand man to, ironically, a girl from New Jersey in a prior segment of  The Tonight Show. When J-WOWW was introduced, Segel's flirt engine went into overdrive as sparks flew in the first meeting between the actor and the reality TV diva.

"Have you two met before?" Leno asked them, to which Segel replied in a playful manner, "No ... certainly not."

Leno then asked the Jersey Shore diva how long she's been with her boyfriend Tom (who was in the audience), and she said "a year," prompting Leno to call out to Tom, "Hey, you wanna get married tonight?"

And that's when Segel interjected his irresistible charm.

"There are so many other dudes though ... I'm right here," Segel told J-WOWW, who smiled back with a wide-eyed look at the rugged actor.
