Of the Emmy nominations -- one for her regular role on FOX's hit show Glee, and one for a special guest appearance on CBS' Two And A Half Men -- Lynch said her agent called her early in the morning, and told her the good news in her usual mellow manner.

"No matter if its good news or bad news, its always the same voice," Lynch said, before launching into a deadpan imitation of her rep. "You got a nomination ... looks like 'Glee' got a nomination ... and congratulations."
The openly-gay Lynch, who tied the knot with girlfriend Lara Embry this past May, joked that the pair married on the anniversary of when they met (Memorial Day weekend) so they only have to remember one day.

The actress, 50, recalled telling her mother she was going to get married to Lara, a psychologist, and how her mother was proud she'd be marrying a doctor.
Lynch made a name for herself in Tinseltown as a talented character actress with memorable appearances in The 40-Year-Old-Virgin and Best In Show, before her breakout role of tough cookie cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on Glee.
In all, Glee received 19 Emmy nominations - more than any other TV series. Fellow castmates Matthew Morrison, Lea Michelle and Chris Coffer were also singled out for their performances.
The 62nd Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on NBC on August 29.
