Robert Pattinson’s trademark bed head and five o’clock shadow were nowhere to be seen Monday, as the neat-and-proper English actor re-shot scenes for his upcoming period piece Water For Elephants in Downtown Los Angeles, and RadarOnline.com has the new pics for you.
In the film, which is based on Sara Gruen's book, the Twilight leading man takes on the role of Jacob Jankowski, a veterinarian-in-training who takes a position with the circus after the death of his parents. Other stars in the film include Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon and Hal Holbrook.

Water For Elephants hits theaters in 2011, but in the meantime, Pattinson can be currently be seen on the silver screen in the third film in the Twilight series, Eclipse.
