After photos surfaced Monday of Christina Milian’s husband The Dream frolicking on the beach with another woman, a rep for the rapper released a statement revealing the couple have separated.

Only a month after denying there was trouble in paradise, music producer Terius 'The Dream' Nash was snapped in the Caribbean romping on the beach with someone other than his wife. According to UsWeekly, the mystery woman is Melissa Santiago who has been Nash’s assistant for about a year.

In the photos,  Nash and Santiago are frisky with each other, with Nash grabbing her butt at one point. He also spins her around for a dance on the beach. Besides Milian being noticeably absent, so was Nash’s wedding ring.

Nash and Milian has two weddings- on  in  September 2009 and a ceremony in Rome in December. The couple has a 5-month-old daughter Violet. "Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward," his rep tells UsWeekly.
