Chris Klein Pleads Not Guilty To DUI

American Pie star Chris Klein was arraigned Friday morning in a Van Nuys, California, courtroom for charges pertaining to a June 16 DUI arrest.
RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Klein was not present in court but entered a plea of not guilty through his attorney Blair Berk – the same powerhouse lawyer representing Mel Gibson.
Klein was charged with one count of DUI with a prior (he was arrested for drunk driving in 2005) and one count of driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher, both misdemeanors. Klein, through his attorney, denies a prior conviction of DUI.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 31-year-old actor checked himself into Utah’s Cirque Lodge for a 30 day alcohol addiction program following his June 16 arrest.
Cirque Lodge is the same facility that has previously treated Hollywood royalty such as Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen and Eva Mendes.
The judge ordered Klein not use or possess any alcoholic beverages and that Klein be present for pre-trial which is scheduled for August 23.
