VIDEO: Kristen Stewart Prompts Near-Kiss Between Taylor Lautner & Rob Pattinson

Maybe Edward's on Team Jacob, after all: Twilight's Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson nearly kissed during an ABC prime-time special Twilight: Total Eclipse Of The Heart on Wednesday night.

In this clip, a crowd of tweens is watching a screening of Eclipse at the legendary Hollywood landmark Mann's Chinese Theater, when all of a sudden, ABC funnyman Jimmy Kimmel and the three biggest stars from the film, Pattinson, Lautner and Kristen Stewart, cut into the film and appeared live on the screen from Kimmel's studios, eliciting some high-pitched squeals from the crowd.
When Kimmel joked he wanted to see a kiss, Stewart pulled Pattinson and Lautner's heads close to one another, which drove the crowd even crazier.
Adding even more fanfare was when other stars in the film, including Dakota Fanning, Bryce Dallas Howard and Peter Facinelli, emerged on stage at the theater to wave to the audience.
Eclipse, the third installment in Stephenie Meyer's wildly-popular Twilight series, hits theaters next Wednesday, June 30.
