Miley Cyrus continues to put distance between her new look and her Disney past, getting another tattoo- this time placed conspicuously on her right ear.

While at the Los Angeles International Airport with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth on Tuesday, Miley debuted her new ink: the word "love" in all capital letters written in black.

Last year, she got a tattoo that reads "just breathe" on her left rib.

Cyrus and Hemsworth have been going strong since meeting while filming The Last Song in 2009. "The last thing I was expecting to do was fall in love," she has said. "But I guess God was like, 'Girl, here is this amazing guy.' Liam has become my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him."

Earlier this month Miley, 17, denied reports the pair had split up because of her jealousy over his rising success.

"Just wanna clear up a rumor. Liam and I did not break. EVER! We are so happy," she wrote on her website on June 3.

The pair walked through the airport hand-in-hand. Cyrus currently is promoting her new album Can't Be Tamed.
