Most of us remember Dayna as the beautiful host of EXTRA, which she left a couple of years ago to "be a Mom."

Turning 40 was a tough milestone for a woman who has been on TV for most of her life.

"I remember when my Mother turned 40 -- she wouldn't even look in the mirror," Dayna says. Determined to take the offensive, Dayna tired the new Juvaderm XC, a derma filler, which she likens to "whitening your teeth."

With the new JUVÉDERM XC, she erased those pesky "parentheses" (technically called nasolabial folds) that appear around the nose and mouth and took years off her face.

"It's empowering!" she says, and adds, "I wants to be part of the women who are de-stigmatizing the use of products like Botox and Juvaderm."

For those of you afraid of needles, Dayna reports that with the new Allergan  JUVÉDERM® formulation contains the local anesthetic lidocaine which she says" cuts the pain in 1/2."

Dayna was so open about her experience - and her natural look -- that she is now the spokesperson for Allegan's Juvaderm, which is the first and only hyaluronic acid dermal filler approved by the FDA to last a year!

We salute these women, who are putting their faces on the line to inform other women of the alternatives open to them.

Dayna's mother would be proud.
