Kate Plus 8 Delivers Plus-Size Ratings

Kate Gosselin and the folks at TLC must be breathing a sigh of relief now that the ratings are in for Sunday night’s Kate Plus 8. The special was watched by an estimated 3.4 million views, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Although the number is well below the 9.8 million fans who watched the Gosselins announce their break-up on Jon & Kate Plus 8 last year, it is up about half a million viewers from the average number who tuned in to the final episodes of that show.
Kate Plus 8 was followed Sunday night by another special, Inside Kate’s World, which pulled in a respectable 3 million viewers.
The next episode of Kate Plus 8 will air July 11. In the fall, TLC is launching a whole new show – Twist of Kate -- starring TV’s favorite reality mom.
