EXCLUSIVE: Tiger Woods Wife Wants Their $80 Million Mansion In Divorce

There’s good new and bad news for Tiger Woods.
His wife Elin Nordegren wants their $80 million mansion on Jupiter Island as part of their divorce, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. And that’s both the good and bad news for the golfing champion.
The mansion is nearly completed and has a 9,500 square foot gym plus an oxygen therapy room, two amenities that were obviously built for Tiger. So the bad news is that after years of waiting, Tiger may never get to enjoy the ocean-front house that Elin played a large part in designing.
But the good news is that Elin wanting the house is a sign she is willing to stay in South Florida, keeping their two children near Tiger.

“Tiger wants to be near his children,” a source familiar with the couple’s situation told RadarOnline.com. “They are definitely moving forward with the divorce but there are a lot of issues to be worked out.”
While no divorce papers have been filed, Tiger and Elin’s marriage is all but over. They barely speak to each other any more, live separately and have both hired lawyers. Elin is reportedly asking for $750 million.
As RadarOnline.com was first to report, Elin recently went to China to visit her brother. She took her two children with her.
“She avoids Tiger and has been doing that for months,” the source said. “Elin went back to school, taking a college class at night. She has her own friends and goes out with them. She spends almost no time with Tiger. She’s over him.”

The China trip is just one of many she has made in the past few months without Tiger, who is getting ready to play in the U.S. Open.
The couple appeared on the road to fixing their troubled marriage after Tiger’s secret life of cheating was exposed around Thanksgiving. He went into sex rehab treatment and Elin participated in his therapy.
But when Tiger announced his return to golf things fell apart for the couple and Elin questioned Tiger’s commitment to changing his life. She refused to move back home with him and has distanced herself emotionally from him dramatically.
There has been discussion that Elin will return to her native Sweden and that is likely to create a battle over how much Tiger will be able to see his children. RadarOnline.com has reported that Elin wants full custody.
But with Elin asking for the Palm Beach mansion that is an indication she is willing to live in South Florida, and that’s good news for Tiger.
“If Tiger is only a two- to three-hour car ride away from his children, that’s probably something he can live with, considering the alternative,” the source said. “Tiger and Elin have not fought in front of the children but it’s clear that Elin is not letting Tiger tell her what to do anymore.
“No one around him thinks he’ll put up a fight over the home if it means keeping his kids in the state.”
