Jesse James is trying to sell off some of his belongings on eBay and most notably a Red Baron replica airplane that was featured in the controversial photo of him giving the Nazi salute. Jesse's former step-mother, Janina James Coan tells RadarOnline.com that she thinks Jesse is "grasping at straws" and "seems to be making things worse."

"He should donate the Red Baron to a memorial or something," Coan said. "I would think that making a donation to the Holocaust museum would be a smarter move than posting that picture and selling off those items."

In the eBay listing, Jesse describes the plane as a piece of 'pop culture history' because of the publicity it received "in US, People, In Touch, etc etc etc." Jesse is now exploiting this photograph after telling Nightline, "There's not a racist bone in my body."
"Maybe he's just going to get rid of all that stuff to try and change his image," Coan continued. "Or maybe he¹s just continuing in his self-destructive way. He should at least donate the money he makes off eBay to a Holocaust museum.
"Jesse doesn't realize that what he's doing is hurting himself. He doesn¹t have the capacity," Coan explained. "Sandra Bullock is smart to stay out of the spotlight and just hope it blows over so she can move on with her life and her career."
