Britney Spears’ miraculous comeback from career suicide has included a hit album, sold out arenas and an endorsement deal with Candie’s, but the pop tartlet isn’t done yet! Britney has another title she would like to add to her ever growing resume: clothing designer.
On Thursday, Candie’s, which is owned by the Iconix Brand Group (the company behind Madonna’s D&G sunglasses deal) will unveil a limited edition, co-branded collection with the Womanizer, which will include Britney for Candie’s sportswear, handbags and jewelry, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
“I wanted to design clothes that I would wear and my fans would wear. That was the most important thing to me,” Spears dished to WWD. “I wanted to make both daytime casual looks and fun dresses to go out in at night. I met with the design team for Candie’s and Kohl’s, and we started making sketches and designed a line. I got to approve every single piece in the line. It was really a lot of fun.”
Want to own a piece of Brit? Her line will be available nationwide and will retail for $14 to $78.
