The MTV Movie Awards is one of the most eccentric shows of the season, rewarding stars Golden Popcorn statues for everything from the perfect pucker to the most evil villains, so it is no surprise that stars walk the red carpet in slightly edgy ensembles. On Sunday night, Hollywood's hottest including Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Tom Cruise and Vanessa Hudgens flocked to Gibson Amphitheatre dressed in rocking and shocking threads.

We were Up in the Air about Anna Kendrick's flirty floral Zac Posen mini. Pairing the super tiny frock from Zac's Fall 2010 collection with edgy, cutout heels, the Twilight star radiated youth in a divine way.

The Hills cast hit the carpet, and while Audrina looked magnificent in metallic and Lo had us crushing on her orange Diane von Furstenburg gown, we weren't so crazy about Stephanie Pratt's neon "surfer girl" one-shouldered mini.  Their old pal Whitney Port, hit the carpet in a super sexy yellow mini, which may have scored her Best Dressed status, but the addition of glittered booties slightly missed the mark.
