White, thanks to a massive fan uproar on Facebook, will be hosting Saturday Night Live May 8; when asked about her career comeback Monday, she responded, "I didn't know I'd ever been away … It's phenomenal. And I love working."
She was also asked about Sandra Bullock, her headline-making co-star in The Proposal, and the recent events -- i.e. the cheating scandal, the adoption and the upcoming divorce -- in Bullock’s life.
Bullock "is so wonderful” and “one of the most delightful human beings" she knows, White said.
"I love her,” White said. “I think her business is her business, and I try never to comment on it. All I can do is love her and wish her well."
