Nealy 95,000 race fans packed into Baltimore's Pimlico Racecourse Saturday for one huge party, and a horse race as well.
Event organizers were determined to help turn the tide for the ailing racing industry by re-making this years' Preakness into one giant frat party. And they succeeded. One fan, who'd driven down from New York, told The Baltimore Sun, "It's the biggest party of the year."
Fans jammed into the infield were treated to live music, a bikini contest, and beer -- lots and lots of beer. Oh, and there was that race.
