Maybe it was the jet lag, the late-night partying, or the height of her high heels that caused Lindsay Lohan to have a nasty spill on her way out of an event in Cannes.

The actress, who is in town to enjoy the famous film festival's festivities, fell to the ground as photographers snapped away.

Thankfully, despite the shortness of her dress, Lohan fell forward, keeping her more private parts shielded from the prying flashes of the cameras.

Lohan recovered quickly and headed into a VIP club shortly after before leaving out the back door.
