The family of slain Monica Beresford-Redman is outraged that Mexican authorities have lost track of her husband, Bruce, the "only suspect" in the case.
Bruce Beresford-Redman was ordered to remain in Mexico while officials there conducted their investigation into his wife's death at the resort where they were vacationing. He was required to turn in his passport but was allowed to travel freely through Mexico.
On Friday, Mexican officials tried twice to contact the former Survivor producer, and were unable to.
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, the Burgos family said that when they learned today that Bruce could not be located, "our greatest fears about the investigation being conducted by the Mexican authorities were realized.
"For over a month, we have patiently waited for the Mexican authorities to take some action with respect to their 'only suspect'. We have now learned that he is missing.
"If Bruce Beresford-Redman has nothing to do with her murder, why would be be running."
