Kristin Davis' Melrose Place-To-Sexy In The City Style Evolution

Kristin Davis has come along since she hit the tube in 1995 on the hit television show Melrose Place. With her gorgeous girl-next-door looks and bubbly personality, the brunette actress was a perfect fit for the role of Charlotte York, Sex and the City's impossibly girly Upper Eastsider. Over the years, Kristin's red carpet style has remained moderately conservative and sophisticated, but the older she gets, the more comfortable she seems to be trying out new looks.

Kristin wore one of her most risky ensembles to the Fox Winter Press Tour Party in 1996 while promoting Melrose Place.  Underneath a satin skirt suit, the young actress exposed her black bra through a sheer, lace shirt!  Fast forward to this week, when she landed in our Worst Dressed gallery for duplicating the fashion faux pas!

After being written off Melrose Place, Kristin scored her role of a lifetime on the HBO show SATC, skyrocketing to stardom overnight. The most conservative of the group, art dealer Charlotte York had a very timeless and sophisticated style, and the actress began to imitate it in real life.
