The gorgeous actress, who has been busy promoting her new flick Mother and Child, which opens Friday, hit The Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday in truly fab fashion. Wearing a powerful purple and black Antonio Berardi strapless mini with Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toed heels, Kara Ackerman jewelry and a Ferragamo clutch, the style star was our pick for Best Dressed of the day!

Whitney Port was also out and about in NYC, but she didn’t quite woo us the same way as Kerry. The City star sported some rather baggy pants in a totally dizzying print, which brought us back to late 1980’s. Yes folks, Hammer Time! Though we admire Whit’s ongoing dedication to edgy fashion, this is one trend we would love to see go away.

Nicole Richie and Malin Akerman were fiercely in fashion, attending a book party in Los Angeles, while Cynthia Nixon looked Sexy in New York City in a bright, red number. Khloe Kardashian was spotted promoting products in Los Angeles wearing a catsuit, which neglected to make ur purr, while Courtney Love shocked us, stepping out in super sophisticated threads in London.
