The two stars were voted in by fans as part of a contest called “Design a Dance,” and marked the first ever time on the show that two celebs had been paired up. Pro dancer Mark Ballas choreographed their number, which was set to Kiss classic Rock and Roll All Nite.
Former ‘N Sync member Fatone, who came in second during the show's fourth season, said he knew he was back when he put on his skimpy outfit.
"The minute I put this on, I was like, 'This is fantastic,'" he joked. "I feel so secure in this outfit, you have no idea."
Rycroft, season eight's third-place finisher who became a household name on ABC's The Bachelor, said she had a similar experience.
"I put it on and was like, 'Well, this is typical," joked Rycroft, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Dancing With the Stars championship week begins at 8/7c Monday on ABC.
