As we all know, vampires have a little issue with the sun, so it was no surprise when we learned that hunky The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder was shopping for shades at Hoff Optometry boutique in Venice, California. RadarOnline.com has the exclusive photos and details about Ian’s shady visit to the posh eyewear store, which is quickly becoming a celeb hotspot.
Ian, who was getting ready to jet off to Cannes and Monte Carlo to promote his hit WB show, stopped by the trendy Abbot Kinney boutique in hopes of finding the perfect shades for his European vacation. After trying on several designer styles, Ian settled on a pair of Stokely Sunglasses from local Venice designer Barton-Perreira.
Ian, who was casually clad for his shopping expedition, looked super hunky in a Panama hat, which further helped him avoid direct sunlight!
