EXCLUSIVE: Funeral Plans Being Finalized in 'Survivor' Murder

The family of Monica Beresford-Redman, the murdered wife of a Survivor producer, is in the final stages of preparing for the funeral more than a month after her body was discovered in Cancun, Mexico.
Monica’s sister, Carla Burgos confirmed exclusively to RadarOnline.com that the family is meeting Tuesday to finalize the location for the funeral of the 41-year-old restaurant/bar owner.
The news comes just as another sister Jeane Burgos filed court papers in LA County Superior asking to be named executor of the estate.

Monica had made Bruce the executor of her will, but he¹s stuck in Mexico and is being investigated as a person of interest in her death. Monica named Jeane as the alternate executor in the case that Bruce was unable to serve.

As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively, the Burgos family held a news conference last week where Monica’s mother Ely pleaded with Mexican authorities to make an arrest and hand over the results of DNA tests, which were conducted on Bruce Beresford-Redman.

The Burgos family attorney, Alison Triessl, told RadarOnline.com that Mexico currently has primary jurisdiction over the case and that the Burgos family has received very little information on what’s happening with the investigation.
