Charlie Sheen isn’t quitting while he’s ahead just yet. After rumors that he would be leaving Two And A Half Men over contract negotiations, the actor confirmed his future on the CBS hit on Monday night.
"To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights," Sheen said in a statement. "I want to thank network president Les Moonves for his support."
After the last season (and Sheen’s contract) wrapped in April, Sheen released a statement hinting that his run on the primetime show was coming to an end.
“If tonight’s show is the end for me as Charlie Harper, so be it,” Sheen said in a statement.
“Another journey has begun. I take from the experience 161 shows filled with a kaleidoscope of amazing experiences, memories, friendships and gratitude. I remain humbly inspired.”
