25-Year Old Pro Golfer Erica Blasberg Found Dead

Erica Blasberg, a twenty-five year old professional golfer, was found dead at her Henderson, Nev., home.
While the cause of death is being withheld pending an investigation, her father Mel Blasberg told the Riverside Press-Enterprise in California that he suspects she committed suicide.

"At first glance, it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it," Blasberg was quoted as saying. "We're waiting for the police to make an investigation."
At 3:15 pm on Sunday, police responded to a 911 call at her home (they would not say who made the call).

At her only LPGA Tour event this year, she tied for 44th two weeks ago at the Tres Marias Championship in Morelia, Mexico.
"She made a little money, she felt good. She knew this year was going to be a tough year, but she was motivated. She didn't seem down," her father told the newspaper.

Despite being an All-American in college, Blasberg struggled since going professional and has never finished higher than 94th on the money list.
