VIDEO: Andrew Young Calls Rielle Hunter A Liar After Oprah Interview

John Edwards' ex-aide Andrew Young, the man who once claimed he was the father to the child sired by the politician with his mistress Rielle Hunter, told Fox News on Friday that Hunter was lying in her highly publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey during which she said Young had volunteered to publicly proclaim himself as the baby’s father.

Young says it was not his idea, but Edwards.

"She's lying," Young said of Hunter's accusation,  adding that he remembered how Edwards had called him up after having developed “a very elaborate scheme” to cover up the pregnancy.

"I don't think anyone should be surprised she's lying given the context of the interview," Young said, adding that he infers that Edwards still has financial ties to Hunter, based on her lavish lifestyle.
