TLC To Give Kate Gosselin 2 New Reality Shows -- Twist Of Kate & Kate Plus 8

TLC will announce Thursday the addition of two projects featuring reality TV ratings powerhouse Kate Gosselin -- one called Twist of Kate showing the reality TV mom meeting those who are inspired by her, the other being a series of specials titled Kate Plus 8, which will have the familiar format of the show that put the Gosselin family on the map, Jon & Kate Plus 8.
Neither show has any plans on using Jon Gosselin, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Twist of Kate will begin with a 12-episode run this summer, and the reality TV mom told USA Today viewers will see her interacting with women who have written to her looking for advice, hope and strength. The divorced mother-of-eight said she will do her best to help counsel others through difficult times in their lives.
"I look at it as a loose concept," Gosselin said. "I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don't consider myself an expert on anything. "
The fact that people really support me and want the kids and I to do well ... is flattering," she told the paper. "I never understood the importance of fans until we struggled and went through tough times."
In the meantime, you can see Kate on Dancing With The Stars airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
