Jon Gosselin Fires Lawyer Who Called Kate "Shameless"

Shortly after an online story quoted Anthony List blasting Kate Gosselin for being a "shameless promoter," Jon Gosselin took to his Twitter to announce that he had fired List a week ago!

"Mr. Anthony List Sr., Esq. is not my representing attorney; I terminated him on April 15, 2010," Jon wrote Thursday morning.

"He has no legal right to speak to the press or anyone on my behalf."

Besides blasting Kate hours earlier, List also announced that Jon was moving forward with his absentee mom argument against Kate regarding the custody of their children.

Not so, Jon says. "Kate, her attorneys and I are moving forward to work out things privately and amicably."

List's office did not immediately return requests for comment.

Kate Lawyer Mark Momjian told RadarOnline.com, "We want to encourage dialogue between the parties in the hope that all issues are resolved amicably - that makes sense for the parents and more importantly for the Gosselin children."
