Jessica's Naked Face Covers Marie Claire (And Other Stars Without Makeup!)
April 8 2010, Published 4:32 a.m. ET
For the past year, Jessica Simpson has been traveling around the world for her show, The Price of Beauty, on a quest to learn exactly what constitutes beauty in different countries. She was able to apply what she has discovered on her journey at the shoot for the May 2010 issue of Marie Claire magazine: The lesson, confidence is universally beautiful.
In the past, Jessica used make-up, hair extensions and cosmetic procedures to enhance her features. Now, Jessica is going for the au natural look, showing us her true beauty. In spite of all the negative criticism Jessica has received in the past for weight fluctuations and unfortunate beauty choices (remember when she overdid the Restylane injection in her lips a few years ago?), Jessica showed us a more natural side, posing sans makeup for the shoot.

Instead of relying on a makeup artist and BFF/hair-dresser Ken Paves, Jessica, skipped the blusher and let her hair air-dry. The result? A flawless, gorgeous looking Jessica, who exudes a new-found confidence, is a role model for anyone who has ever felt less than confident about themselves.
