Honey is known for it’s medicinal properties and mysterious beauty benefits, so we were excited to hear about the new MANUKA Honey Mask from Plantogen, the Australian beauty company that produces plant derived skincare products.

This particular honey is derived from bees that collect nectar from the Manuka bush, a plant found ONLY in Zealand. Locals use the honey as a skin and wound healer with natural antiseptic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal properties.

So the Plantogen's company bribed some of the bees and put the honey in a number of products, such as their Hydrating Moisturizer, Purifying Cleanser and their new Manuka Honey Mask.

The mask should be used once a week for best effect.  Plantogen's Manuka Honey Mask is sold at fine department stores and spas throughout the United States.  It is priced at $45 for 4.2oz.
