On Thursday afternoon, George Lopez was honored as the first Mexican American to be immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood.

Standing next to his lifesize wax replica, Lopez told RadarOnline.com exclusively, “I’ve never laughed uncontrollably in my life before except when I was high. But I’m not high right now,” the comedian said.

Lopez recently made headlines when he poked fun at a picture of Linday Lohan with what appeared to be white powder on her feet and ankles. Lindsay raged back via Twitter, writing, “Thanks for the childish comment regarding baby powder in my shoes to loosen up the leather. Don’t you have kids? U wouldn’t wanna hear that about them, or would you? Act like a grown man, have some respect and dignity for yourself.”

RadarOnline.com asked Lopez whether he thought Lindsay would approve of his new wax statue, to which the funnyman replied, “I think she will be happy there’s two of us because this one (pointing to the wax statue) don’t talk. I think she’d prefer this one over me.”

Lopez also told RadarOnline.com he genuinely thinks Lindsay is “great” and hopes to get her on his show, “Lopez Tonight.”
