EXCLUSIVE: Spencer Pratt - The Hills Have Eyes

Professional publicity seeker Spencer Pratt has gone to the next stage – by joining the paparazzi because he thinks somebody is spying on him, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
The Hills star asked a paparzzo friend if he could borrow a monster 500 mm lense –which costs $10,000 -- so that he could take shots of the helicopters that he believes are circling the Pacific Palisades home that he shares with his wife Heidi Montag.
It has been a traumatic few months for Pratt after he was suspended from MTV’s hit reality show after an alleged altercation with one of the show’s producers.
On top of that, his surgically-enhanced wife is now calling the shots over her own career that he once totally masterminded.
A source close to Pratt exclusively told RadarOnline.com: “Spencer is convinced that people are spying on him, so, he wanted the large 500mm lense so that he could take images of the helicopters in the sky.
“Spencer is a real conspiracy theory type of guy and he really takes his and Heidi’s security very seriously.
“He has several guns inside the house and has employed private security guards to protect them in the past too.”
Heidi recently called into Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show to announce that she and her husband would be moving to Costa Rica in the future.
The Hills star revealed that they will be moving to Costa Rica as, "We need a change, a new life. There's so much going on, so much craziness, we need a whole new adjustment."
Heidi also revealed that reports of an imminent divorce between her and Spencer are way off the mark, and, in fact, "I was being a little dramatic, he's dramatic, maybe it's Hollywood.
"After everything we've been through, it's a lot for any couple to go through. It's a lot for any people to go through. But we're good, we're great now, everything is better."
Maybe the reality couple has decided to call it quits on Hollywood because Spencer just can’t relax with all the prying eyes watching him 24/7 … at least in his head that is.
