The late Corey Haim "wasn't ready to stop" using prescription pills, fellow child actor Todd Bridges told the Today Show Monday, and RadarOnline.com has the clip for you.
Bridges, who played Willis on hit 80s sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, said he "tried to get Corey to stop taking prescription drugs and to take back his life" around the time Haim was working on his reality TV show, The Two Coreys.

"He just wasn't ready to stop," Bridges said of his child star colleague, adding that any drug addict's recovery needs to be fueled by a genuine desire to stop using.
Bridges said he had also tried, unsuccessfully, to help refer his TV co-star Dana Plato to a recovery program just three days before her fatal overdose in 1999.
Bridges, who just released his new book, Killing Willis, complained he gets a bad rap for his past problems, adding he has been sober for 17 years.
